This is one of the best practicable structures for geodesic domes on the market. Made completely of anodized aluminium, joint system with FIXTRES® flanges, exclusive of Domos Barcelona, and screws of stainless steel.
All our geodesic domes are manufactures following the strict report of our engineers, who study the location of every dome.
Screws:
The screws are assembled on every tube, with a rubber ring torus to make the assembly easier and in order to integrate the screw into the piece. The size of the screw depends on how big the dome is, however the most usual ones are 6, 8 or 12 milimeters. The nuts are also of steel and are riveted to the flange. Allen Din912, quality A2, stainless steel.
Flanges FIXTRES®
Our exclusive FIXTRES® flanges have been tought to have anything hanging, hold up dropped ceilings and make the geodesic dome more attractive.
The flanges can be pentagonal and hexagonal, but the always have a riveted eccentric triangle, which avoids the rotation of the flanges for safety reasons. The anodized aluminium is AW6060 T5 and is cut with numerical control laser, guarantee of precision.
